MYP/DP - English Language & Literature Teacher

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are in search of an exceptional teacher of English Language & Literature to become part of our team starting on 17-08-2026. We are looking for candidates who can inspire inquiry and engagement among students, particularly those with a background in the IB MYP/DP, capable of differentiating instruction and demonstrating a strong commitment to holistic child education.

The Role:

As an English Language & Literature Teacher within the MYP/DP curriculum, you will captivate and engage students through inquiry-based learning, maintaining high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting in your subject area. This position calls for a passionate educator who can motivate students, parents, and colleagues to achieve ongoing success. The ideal candidate will focus on holistic education, delivering well-resourced lessons and fostering an environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum content while upholding exceptional standards in teaching and assessment.
• Cultivate a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports students' right to learn.
• Create differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly within the IB MYP/DP framework.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the well-being of the school community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English Language & Literature or a related field.
• PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience is essential, preferably in an IB school.
• A strong record of delivering exceptional results.
• A professional commitment to effectively implementing an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is desirable.

Competent level of IT Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to contributing positively to the school’s overall welfare.
