ABOUT THE COMMUNITY

Wanipigow School is a modern educational facility catering to students from Nursery through Grade 12, with a total enrollment of 291 students. Situated in the Hollow Water community on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg, the school is located a two-hour drive northeast of Winnipeg. This scenic area provides various canoeing routes, fishing spots, and winter cross-country skiing trails.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A strong understanding of provincial curricula.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Familiarity with technology utilized in educational environments.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life is considered an asset.
• Experience in a northern community is also viewed as an asset.
