We are seeking a skilled maths specialist to join our team on a permanent basis due to an extended maternity leave.

• An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Y7 to Y13 Secondary Education with a Maths specialization and QTS or equivalent.
or
• An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Maths or a closely related field along with an internationally recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Maths and QTS or equivalent.
or
• An internationally recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any subject paired with an internationally recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Maths with QTS or equivalent, plus two years of experience teaching Secondary Maths.

Al Basma is a well-regarded and highly sought-after ENC School. Our seven-form entry institution currently serves over 2000 students from FS1 to Y13. In September 2020, we inaugurated a state-of-the-art Primary block catering to Y3 to Y6.

The school obtained BSO (British Schools Overseas) accreditation in May 2016 during its second operational year and has shown continuous improvement, achieving a good rating with an increased number of outstanding features in May 2022. Since January 2017, the school has consistently received Band A gradings in the ADEK Irtiq'aa inspections. Most recently, in February 2022, we solidified our Very Good ADEK rating with a significant number of outstanding features.
