Capital School Bahrain is thrilled to invite applications for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to become a part of our growing secondary team.
The selected individual will take on the responsibility of teaching Mathematics for Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level Mathematics as we broaden our post-16 curriculum. This role is perfect for a skilled educator who has a passion for mathematics and is dedicated to enhancing student achievement.
Key Responsibilities include:
•
Providing outstanding Mathematics instruction across KS3 and KS4
•
Creating well-structured lessons that comply with the English National Curriculum
•
Promoting notable student progress and high achievement, including IGCSE outcomes
•
Effectively utilizing assessments to inform teaching strategies and interventions
•
Encouraging positive behavior, student engagement, and maintaining high expectations
•
Working collaboratively with the Mathematics department and the wider school community
The ideal candidate will have:
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
•
Experience with the English National Curriculum and teaching IGCSE Mathematics
•
Effective classroom management abilities and sound teaching methodologies
•
A commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of students
•
Experience or a keen interest in A-Level Mathematics (preferred)
