About This Role
Strothoff International School is a bilingual institution dedicated to providing an international education. Our educational model combines the Hessian education framework with the global IB curriculum. Situated on a contemporary, family-oriented campus in Dreieich (close to Frankfurt), we offer approximately 380 children and young adults the chance to learn German and English through an immersive approach, beginning from nursery age. We are currently looking for a
Learning Support Teacher (all genders)
(part-time & full-time)
to join our Primary School and Secondary School in Dreieich at the start of the 2026 / 2027 academic year.

Your Responsibilities:
•
Assist both students and teachers within the classroom environment
•
Ensure that appropriate access arrangements are made for examinations
•
Provide one-on-one and small group support outside the classroom, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and subject-specific tasks
•
Conduct observations and carry out standardized assessments
•
Engage in curriculum differentiation, content modification, and the development of tools, resources, and materials that improve teaching and student learning
•
Manage the administration of school-wide assessments (MAP) three times annually
•
Work collaboratively with staff and parents to evaluate the suitable level and type of support for students referred to the TLS department, including participation in parent-teacher meetings
•
Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEP) for students with diverse needs, ensuring their involvement in the goal-setting process
•
Write school reports for students receiving learning support
Your Profile:
•
Qualified as a primary teacher, with a degree in Special/Inclusive Education, Special Educational Needs, Education, or a related field that qualifies you to teach
•
Experience in Special/Inclusive Education is preferred, as well as familiarity with the IB PYP/MYP programs, though this is not essential
•
Fluent in English and possess German language skills at a B2 level, or a willingness to achieve B2 proficiency within two years
•
Passionate and eager to engage with our educational philosophy
