Sharjah English School (SES) is a small, inclusive, non-profit institution situated on an attractive, spacious campus near Dubai. We are a well-established co-educational school that delivers the National Curriculum to 1,100 students, from Foundation through to A Level. While our primary focus is on the local British expatriate community, our diverse student population includes individuals from various nationalities. SES holds accreditation as a British School Overseas and from the British Schools of the Middle East. The Role: Class Teacher - Key Stage Two

We are seeking a committed teacher to join our dynamic team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences that inspire and engage Key Stage Two students, helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Personal Specifications:

  • Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years of teaching experience
  • Proficient in effectively utilizing ICT
  • Knowledgeable about innovative educational practices and concepts
  • Up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the English National Curriculum
  • Strong personal presence complemented by excellent interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and procedures

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • A B.Ed or BA degree in a core Primary subject along with a PGCE
  • Evidence of creating a nurturing and supportive environment
  • A passionate dedication to the well-being and academic and social growth of each student
  • Experience that significantly contributes to the wider school community
