Due to our ongoing expansion, we are in search of a remarkable teacher for Integrated Humanities & Social Studies to become part of our team, starting on 18-08-2025. The Role:
As an Integrated Humanities & Social Studies Teacher within the MYP/DP curriculum, you will ignite student engagement through inquiry-based learning, while maintaining high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting within your subject area. This position calls for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students, parents, and colleagues to strive for ongoing success. The ideal candidate will focus on holistic education, delivering well-resourced lessons and fostering an environment that supports every child's right to learn, balancing warmth with appropriate challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum content while upholding exceptional teaching and assessment standards.
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that champions students' right to learn.
- Design differentiated lessons that cater to the varied needs of students, particularly within the IB MYP/DP framework.
- Work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute positively to the overall welfare of the school community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Integrated Humanities & Social Studies or a related field.
- PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE certification.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated teaching experience, preferably in an IB setting.
- A proven history of achieving outstanding results.
- Professional dedication to the effective implementation of an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is preferred.
- Competency in IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities.
- A strong work ethic and readiness to contribute to the overall well-being of the school.
