IB DP Biology and Mathematics Teacher

I-Shou International School, located in Taiwan, is a dynamic educational institution focused on delivering exceptional international education. We are currently seeking a dedicated IB DP Biology Teacher who is also qualified to teach Mathematics to join our faculty, beginning in August 2026.

Applicants for this position must possess a passport from a country where English is an official language and hold a valid and current teaching license or registration that authorizes them to teach in public schools in their home country or elsewhere.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and effective science lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking, assessing student progress, and working collaboratively with other educators to enhance the learning experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education, with a preference for candidates with experience in ELL
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in a relevant subject area
• Familiarity with the IB DP and MYP curricula is preferred
• Strong understanding of scientific principles in both biology and mathematics
• Ability to create interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Familiarity with educational technology tools for classroom instruction
• A current and active government-issued teaching license or registration
