Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Social Science/Social Studies educator who is passionate about inspiring a love for learning and enhancing the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, starting in August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for Social Science teachers who are committed to fostering curiosity, motivating achievement, and supporting the success of every student at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and interactive Social Science/Social Studies lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Design and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies that promote a love for Social Science and develop critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to cultivate a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure continuity in delivering curriculum content effectively.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
