Homeroom Teacher Gr 4 Male-(PYP)

ALS is looking for a committed Teacher to become a part of our exceptional team of educators. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an inclusive educational teaching plan that meets the standards of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present lessons in an engaging fashion, employing visual and auditory resources to enhance learning in line with IBO guidelines.
• Provide individualized instruction to students, cultivating an interactive learning atmosphere.
• Create and distribute educational resources including notes, summaries, and assignments.
• Assess and document student progress, delivering grades and constructive feedback.
• Ensure a tidy and organized classroom setting.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders, participating in regular meetings.
• Contribute positively to the school’s culture and act as a positive representative in the community.
• Plan and execute educational activities and events, both inside the classroom and outdoors.
• Observe and evaluate student behavior and mental health, reporting any concerns regarding neglect or abuse when necessary.
• Advance your professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and workshops.
• Actively engage in school-wide professional development efforts.
• Be open to constructive feedback and criticism.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures, consistently upholding school rules.
• Take appropriate measures to ensure student safety at all times.
• Be prepared to extend your work hours beyond the school day when necessary to support student learning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain open and honest communication with your principal.
• Demonstrate patience while working with students from various backgrounds and abilities.
