About This Role

Job Role

We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead and improve inclusive practices at our British curriculum school in Dubai. The successful candidate will champion inclusive education, oversee SEND provisions, and ensure that every student is empowered to achieve their utmost potential.

Job Responsibilities


Create and deliver engaging English lessons that comply with the National Curriculum for England, IGCSE, and A-Level (or equivalent)


Teach a diverse range of literature and language subjects that encourage critical thinking and creativity


Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback


Adapt teaching methods to meet the varied needs of all learners, including EAL students


Prepare students for both internal and external assessments


Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives


Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment


Take an active role in school events, pastoral support, and professional development opportunities

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field


Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE / B.Ed. or equivalent)


Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level in a British curriculum setting (preferably in the UAE)


Strong knowledge of curriculum frameworks


Outstanding classroom management and communication skills


Commitment to safeguarding and enhancing student wellbeing

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
