GEMS Schools in Dubai are seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Head of Inclusion to join their team starting August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with the SENDCo to develop and oversee individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Fostering strong connections with students and their families to ensure their needs are addressed.
• Participating in continuous professional growth and contributing to a culture of excellence.
• Supporting the overarching Teaching and Learning policy to enhance inclusive teaching practices.
• Providing opportunities for colleagues to observe and visit other schools to exchange best practices.
• Gathering and analyzing specialist assessment data on students to inform educational strategies.
• Collaborating with the Pastoral leader and teachers to monitor individual teaching sessions in relation to students' IEP objectives.
• Incorporating critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning methods into everyday instruction.
• Creating an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning atmosphere that promotes independence, confidence, and curiosity.
• Establishing clear classroom routines and maintaining high standards for behavior and academic performance.
• Complying with and enforcing all school policies regarding discipline, safeguarding, and the welfare of students.
• Building positive relationships with students and supporting their social-emotional development.
• Ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of students at all times.
