Serving the Dukhan township, which boasts over 40 nationalities, our school has an enrollment of approximately 1,100 students. Our newly built campus covers 27 acres and is equipped with modern learning facilities, such as an 800-seat auditorium, a 1,500-person assembly hall, three sports halls, state-of-the-art science laboratories, music rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and an all-weather pitch.

At DES, we are committed to creating a culture of excellence that allows both our students and staff to thrive. We hold the following beliefs:

- Every staff member serves as a role model for lifelong learning.
- A culture of possibility empowers everyone to exceed their expectations.
- Each child in every classroom deserves a champion who supports their personal and academic development.
- An evidence-informed approach to teaching and learning is crucial for shaping our classroom practices.
- Generosity of spirit and the values instilled by QatarEnergy are essential to our professional and personal interactions.

We are seeking an inspiring leader with at least 4 years of experience who has the passion and expertise to lead the Expressive Arts Faculty.

In this position, you will:

- Guide colleagues in improving pedagogical practices and delivering ‘quality first teaching’, while providing feedback and supporting professional development.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment within the department and throughout the school.
- Strategically manage curriculum development, ensuring that modifications substantially enhance students' knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding.

- Possesses a strong understanding of strategies to support EAL students.
- Is dedicated to providing extracurricular activities and learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
