Requirements:
We are in search of a committed, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable professional who will actively pursue excellence in English instruction. Previous experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A Level English Language and Literature is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee teaching practices and classroom management in the department to ensure high-quality education. This will include modeling best teaching practices for other staff.
- Advocate for the Lasallian Mission and Core Values of SJIIS.
- Ensure that planning, preparation, assessment, recording, and reporting in the department meet the school’s standards.
- Display comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum while aiding in the ongoing development of the English Language and Literature curriculum.
- Proactively engage in professional development.
- Contribute to the overall development and advancement of the school.
