About This Role
Runnymede College, a private non-denominational British institution situated in Madrid, offers a British education to students aged two to eighteen from various national backgrounds. Our curriculum is in line with the British National Curriculum.
Founded in September 1967 as a private educational establishment, our primary school welcomed its first students in 1987, and since 1990, the entire school has been located in La Moraleja, in the northern part of Madrid. The school is divided into three segments: Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).
Runnymede College is known for its high academic achievements. Furthermore, 67% of our pupils received A*-A grades at IGCSE, which is also higher than the 48% A*-A grades at GCSE in the English independent school sector.
In the graduating class of 2025, 83% of students intending to enroll in UK universities will be attending institutions ranked in the Top 10 according to the Sunday Times Good University Guide. This year’s graduates will gain admission to prestigious UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and LSE. Students heading to the US have commenced their studies at esteemed colleges including Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, and Brown, among others.
Some of our students will continue their education in Spain at respected institutions such as ICADE, IE, and ICAI, while others will pursue studies at leading universities across Europe in countries like France and Ireland.
