FS/Primary/Secondary Teacher Appointments - April/September 2026 - (UAE-Based Candidates)

Job Description

We are seeking exceptional educators who are eager to become part of our prestigious schools and are dedicated to delivering top-notch education. GEMS teachers benefit from a vibrant school atmosphere where they can implement an engaging and innovative curriculum for enthusiastic learners. We are specifically looking for teachers currently residing in the UAE with experience in IGCSE school settings.

Qualifications:

• For FS/KG - A Bachelor’s degree in Arts alongside a 2-year Montessori qualification or 2 years in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). For instance, candidates may hold a BA + ECCE (2 yrs) or BA + B.Ed. (Please note that none of these qualifications should be obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university).
• For Primary/Middle - A Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science paired with a Bachelor’s in Education, both degrees must be in the same teaching subject. Examples include BA + B.Ed or B.Sc + B.Ed (Again, none of these degrees should be through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university).
• For Senior School - A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Arts or Science alongside a Bachelor’s in Education, with all degrees focused on the same teaching subject. For example, BA & MA + B.Ed or B.Sc & M.Sc + B.Ed (These degrees must not be obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or from an open university).

Requirements:

The teaching subject and qualifications must align. Preference will be given to those with experience in the IGCSE Curriculum. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic demeanor both inside and outside the classroom.

• A collaborative team player within the department and across different educational phases.
• Strong IT and interpersonal communication abilities to engage effectively with students and parents.
• Proficient command of the English language.
