French Teacher (Secondary School) – required for August 2026
About This Role
Discovery Bay International School (DBIS) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Secondary School French teacher who is enthusiastic about contributing to our lively and diverse international educational setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding French lessons to Secondary School students through engaging and interactive methods aimed at improving their language skills. This role is available as either a part-time or full-time French teaching position, with the possibility of additional teaching responsibilities based on the individual's background, expertise, and specializations.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- At least two years of experience in a full-time teaching role;
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in languages or a closely related field;
- A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS);
- Fluency in both French and English;
- Proven experience in high-level language instruction (French).
New educators will receive two-year renewable contracts along with a competitive benefits package that includes an 18.75% gratuity, a monthly cash allowance, coverage for one child’s school fees, and comprehensive medical and dental insurance for both the employee and their spouse.
