About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative educator to join our English department in the Junior School during an exciting new chapter in the school’s growth beginning in February 2025. The ideal candidate should possess confidence and capability in teaching English across all primary levels. Additionally, the ability to teach another subject, such as Theory of Knowledge (TOK), would be a plus.
Cambridge College currently prepares students for IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant degree accompanied by a UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- At least four years of teaching experience.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude as part of the staff team.
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum, (I)GCSE, and IBDP syllabuses is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a dedication to holistic education.
- A demonstrated record of outstanding classroom and pedagogical effectiveness.
- The ability to participate in our extracurricular activities program.
- Flexibility to collaborate across subjects and key stages.
- A team-oriented approach to develop new initiatives that enhance the English curriculum.
- Knowledge and experience in leveraging digital technologies to enrich student learning.

- Four years of teaching experience
- Teaching degree or qualification in education
- PGCE or PGDE, UK Qualified Teacher Status, or a similar teaching qualification
- Proficiency in English
