English Teacher - Fixed Term
About This Role
The British International School of Stockholm is in search of a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated English teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a vibrant and comprehensive English curriculum for Key Stage 3 students, while also preparing them for IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme assessments.
Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience teaching English to students in Years 7 to 13.
- Possession of a valid teaching qualification (UK BEd or PGCE with a relevant degree or equivalent recognized qualifications from other nations).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligibility to live and work in Sweden.
- A demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
- A creative and passionate approach to teaching, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Strong communication skills, with a knack for teamwork.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on achieving goals and delivering positive outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and understanding of teaching IBDP English Language and Literature.
- Familiarity with international education frameworks, particularly IGCSE and IB curricula.
