Elementary Homeroom Teacher - Ansan
About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 educational district focused on developing responsible citizens and preparing students for their future academic pursuits. Our mission is to embed essential ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside our core academic curriculum.
A thriving educational atmosphere is fostered through high-quality teaching and productive student engagement. To achieve this, it is crucial to provide a safe environment for all members of the SPAS community, with a strong emphasis on citizenship and the equitable enforcement of rules. We acknowledge the significant role parents play in their children's education and emphasize the need for their active involvement and accountability regarding academic achievement and behavior.
At SPAS, we are on the lookout for educators who view their role as extending beyond traditional teaching. Our ideal candidates are those who seek innovative methods to support struggling learners, challenge those who excel, and comprehend the factors influencing students' performance. Their commitment is rooted in a desire to ensure that every student not only survives but thrives. These educators are excited about working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote student success.
Teachers at SPAS understand that the role of an educator encompasses more than simply assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If you share this belief, we invite you to apply via the WhatSchool platform.
