Early Years Teacher
About This Role
About the School
The British Early Years Centre (BEYC) is a premier international Early Years institution located in Ari, Bangkok, catering to children aged 2 to 6 years. We embrace a child-led, play-based, and nature-inspired curriculum that merges the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. This distinctive combination creates enriched teaching experiences that prioritize the child's voice.
Our learning environment fosters education both indoors and outdoors, featuring thoughtfully selected sustainable toys and resources. We focus on meaningful, play-based lessons, incorporating engaging hands-on activities for Phonics and Maths. Teachers are encouraged to plan lessons based on the children's current interests, integrating ample play, nature, and opportunities for independent learning. Our health-conscious approach includes a nutritious menu accommodating various allergies, utilizing organic food and cleaning supplies.
With small class sizes and a favorable teacher-to-student ratio—capping at 16 students per class with 3 Learning Assistants—BEYC distinguishes itself in Bangkok. All Learning Assistants possess a high standard of English, with many having been part of our team for several years.
We are thrilled to announce our transition to a new purpose-built campus in September 2025, situated near our current location. More details about this exciting change can be found on our Instagram, Facebook, and website, with further information provided during the interview process.
