We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years lead practitioner to join our friendly team and help lead our high-quality early years provision.

About the Role

As lead practitioner you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding, to fulfil legal and statutory requirements and supervise staff on a daily basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on children’s early learning experiences while developing your leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

  1. Lead and support staff within your room.
  2. Deliver and uphold outstanding early years practice in line with the EYFS.
  3. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  4. Build positive relationships with children, families, and the community.
  5. Be responsible for planning, assessment, and monitoring children’s progress.
  6. Be responsible for maintaining systems for observation and record keeping
  7. Supervise children and staff.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Level 3 Early Years Qualification (minimum)
  2. Experience within an Early years setting.
  3. Experience of working with children from 3months-4years.
  4. Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
  5. Confident, warm, and professional communicator.
  6. A team player with excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  7. Passionate about providing outstanding early education.

Compensation

14.29 per hour
