Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports individual strengths and varied learning styles.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or needing additional assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enrich student learning and involvement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to guide instruction and tailored support.
- Collaborate with peers to develop and enhance IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Establish positive connections with parents and the wider community to foster student growth and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Maintain the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
