Job Purpose
The Director of Arabic and Islamic Studies will offer strategic and academic leadership within the department, guaranteeing the implementation of a high-quality curriculum that is both academically challenging and culturally pertinent, adhering to UAE national standards. This position involves leading and motivating high-quality teaching, instilling a passion for learning, and fostering a profound appreciation for Emirati culture and Islamic heritage. Collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the Director will promote continuous improvement, assess impact, and ensure that all students achieve strong results in Arabic and Islamic Education.

We are in search of an energetic and experienced leader to oversee our MOE - Arabic & Islamic department. The chosen individual will provide strategic leadership throughout the department, ensuring excellence in teaching and exceptional student outcomes.
The Director of MOE will mentor and develop Arabic & Islamic teachers, champion continuous improvement, and advocate for outstanding teaching and learning to achieve robust academic results.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
