- Salary – MSA - Scale A, £12.85/hr and TA - Scale D, £13.47-£13.68/hr
- Permanent
- Part Time
- TA – 11 hours per week (2 days - Mon/Tues), Term Time plus 1 week
- MSA – 30 mins per day, Term Time only
Due to retirement of a member of staff, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic TA to work at Sprowston Infant School. Experience in EYFS and/or KS1 is essential, as well as an ability to assess children’s learning and development and planning for their next steps.
The successful candidate will have:
- Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
- Previous experience of working with EYFS/KS1 children in a school setting
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under the direction of the teacher, but is able to use their own initiative to support learning
- The ability to establish a positive relationship with children, parents and staff
- A secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 curriculum
