We are on the lookout for a skilled Design Technology Teacher to become part of our team starting in August 2026. The perfect candidate will work alongside other seasoned educators to promote the school’s strategic vision and will possess the ability to teach across all secondary Key Stages, including A Level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining an engaging, comprehensive D&T curriculum that meets national standards, aligns with the school's goals, and integrates industry innovations.
  • Encouraging and facilitating high-quality instruction through collaboration and the exchange of effective teaching practices.
  • Evaluating and improving teaching standards, ensuring inclusivity, differentiation, and efficient monitoring of student progress.
  • Managing budgets, updating technologies and facilities, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and overseeing effective scheduling and staffing.
  • Working in partnership with other departments, involving parents and the community, and representing the department at leadership and school events.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline along with a PGCE is a must.
  • An experienced DT Teacher with at least 3 years of delivering the National Curriculum for England to A Level students.
  • Professionals dedicated to enhancing standards in alignment with the school’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Outstanding educators capable of delivering innovative lessons rooted in modern pedagogical strategies and forward-thinking initiatives.

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
