Cleaner

The post-holder will help to provide a cleaning service that complies with the standards as laid down by the Governing Body.

Responsible to: The Headteacher of the College

Line Manager: Cleaning Team Leader

Essential Skills:

• Good interpersonal skills: with staff, pupils, suppliers, contractors, parents, and members of the public
• Use of cleaning materials & equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning Health & Safety

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of working in a school environment

• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Attention to details
• Able to work on own initiative
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Desire to learn school systems and undertake job related training
