Nisichawayasi Nehetho Culture and Education Authority is actively seeking committed educators for a variety of teaching positions for the 2026-27 school year. The roles available include:

The Nisichawayasi Nehetho Culture and Education Authority (NNCEA) oversees two educational institutions, serving students from Nursery to Grade 6 and Grades 7 to 12. Our schools offer diverse programs, including Life Skills, Land-Based/Cultural Exploration, Cosmetology, Visual Arts, Music, Culinary Arts, and more! The high school, which opened in April 2022, boasts modern facilities and resources. Both schools also feature weekly after-school programs for students and staff, along with cultural events that foster appreciation of our community and traditions.
NNCEA currently manages 47 rental properties for teachers and staff. The Authority covers utilities, maintenance, internet (Starlink or fiber optic), appliances, and furniture. The current rental rates are as follows: $300 per month for a one-bedroom unit, $350 per month for a two-bedroom unit, and $400 per month for a three-bedroom unit. For those traveling from Thompson, NNCEA offers shuttle services to both schools.
In addition to our educational facilities, the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) provides a variety of amenities, such as a local hockey arena, fitness center, multiplex, nursing station, grocery store, wellness center, and more.
