About BASIS International School Hangzhou

Established in 2018, BASIS International School Hangzhou is the first BASIS International School located outside of Guangdong province in China. Serving students from Pre-K to Grade 12, we celebrated our inaugural graduating class in 2022. As a Choir Teacher, you will expand upon a solid foundation of music skills, delving into complex melodic and rhythmic concepts, various types and families of instruments, vocal posture, and breathing techniques, among other topics. You will encourage students to engage critically and creatively with music as both an essential part of human experience and a form of self-expression. Collaborating with fellow educators, you will integrate music into history, technology, and other subjects to enrich student learning. Throughout the school year, you will organize and participate in numerous events to showcase your students' achievements.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly regarded for Pre-K through Grade 5).
• Experience: A minimum of two years experience as a lead teacher in a classroom, which is a requirement for obtaining a working visa.
