From middle school onward, our students partake in advanced coursework, maintaining high expectations while building a solid foundation in core subjects, revisiting and deepening their understanding of concepts each year to prepare for honors and Advanced Placement courses starting in ninth grade.

As a Chemistry teacher, you will enhance this robust foundation by concentrating on the essential principles of chemistry and scientific inquiry, exploring the structure and properties of matter, the organization of the periodic table, and laboratory techniques. Your curriculum will include topics such as chemical bonding, conservation of matter, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and atomic structure. You will also facilitate student-led lab experiences to deepen their comprehension.

Work Experience

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly regarded for Pre-K through Grade 5).
