At BASIS, we believe that students thrive through meaningful challenges. From middle school onward, our pupils engage in advanced coursework, setting ambitious goals while building a robust foundation in core subjects. Each year, they revisit and deepen their understanding of concepts to prepare for honors and Advanced Placement levels beginning in ninth grade.

As a Chemistry teacher, you will enhance this strong base by emphasizing the essentials of chemistry and scientific inquiry through the examination of the structure and properties of matter, the organization of the periodic table, and laboratory skills. Your curriculum will encompass topics such as chemical bonding, conservation of matter, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and atomic structure. You will also integrate student-driven lab experiences to bolster student comprehension.

Your responsibilities will include:
