ROLE SUMMARY:
St. Peter’s International School, located in Palmela near Lisbon, serves around 1,500 students aged 4 months to 18 years on a modern 37,000 m² campus. The school offers a bilingual curriculum (Portuguese/English), Cambridge programs, and the International Baccalaureate, with boarding options for older students. We are seeking a committed and highly qualified Cambridge Primary Teacher to implement the Cambridge Primary curriculum starting in August for the upcoming academic year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and tailored lessons for diverse learners.
•
Utilize innovative teaching methods, including inquiry-based learning and digital tools.
•
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
•
Contribute to curriculum development and integrate technology to enrich learning experiences.
•
Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere while prioritizing student well-being.
•
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
•
Engage in ongoing professional development and comply with safeguarding policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in Education or a related discipline (a teaching qualification is preferred).
•
Experience with the Cambridge Primary curriculum (or similar international curricula).
•
A genuine passion for inspiring young learners and supporting both their academic and personal growth.
•
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
•
Experience in an international or multicultural environment (preferred).
•
Fluency in English and a commitment to promoting student well-being.
