The mission of Alumnae Relations at Crofton House School is to foster connections among alumnae and between alumnae and the School, aligning these interactions with both their interests and expertise as well as the values and commitments of the School. Additionally, Alumnae Relations plays a crucial role in educating students about the significance of alumnae, preparing them to join this community upon their graduation.

The Coordinator, Alumnae Relations, works closely with the Alumnae Relations Manager and is a significant part of the Advancement Department. The ideal candidate will support the Alumnae Relations program by aiding in the planning and execution of events, assisting the Alumnae Manager with the CHS Alumnae Association, managing alumnae social media channels, and collaborating with School faculty and staff to enhance connections between students and alumnae.

Responsibilities:
● Provide administrative assistance to the Manager of Alumnae Relations.
● Facilitate collaboration with Senior School students through initiatives like Career Conference, Capstone, University Ambassadors, and Speaker Series.
● Offer administrative support for Crofton Connect, the digital platform that links students, alumnae, and the School.
● Oversee social media platforms aimed at the alumnae audience.
● Organize alumnae events both on-campus and off-site.
● Support the CHS Alumnae Association, including distributing meeting minutes and communicating about social media updates and event logistics.
● Contribute to the creation of alumnae stories for School publications, such as the alumnae newsletter.
● Foster positive relationships with colleagues throughout the School to enhance cross-departmental events and initiatives.
● Assist with other tasks within the Advancement Department as necessary.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience:
● Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
● Keen attention to detail.
● Capable of engaging professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficient in using social media in a professional context.
● Familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace is advantageous.
● Able to handle confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion and tact.
● Demonstrates a growth mindset.
● Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends to support School events.
● Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
● Familiarity with the independent school setting is beneficial.
● A minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative experience.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
