Beginning in middle school, our students delve into advanced coursework, setting high expectations while building a solid foundation in core subjects. Each year, we revisit and deepen these concepts in preparation for honors and Advanced Placement courses starting in ninth grade.

As a Biology teacher, you will enhance this strong foundation by covering topics such as the scientific method, cellular biology, microbiology, genetics, plant and animal physiology, classification, and ecology. You will integrate student-led lab experiences to further enrich understanding.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly regarded for Pre-K through Grade 5).
• Experience: A minimum of two years as a lead teacher in a classroom, which is necessary for obtaining a working visa.
