Grange Park Primary School is seeking a passionate and inspiring Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion (SENCo) to become a part of our dedicated team. Please find the job purpose outlined below:
- Oversee the daily operations of our school's provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, 'Vulnerable Learners,' and Pupil Premium students.
- Provide expert guidance to ensure high-quality teaching, effective resource allocation, and enhanced achievement standards for SEND pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deepen understanding of how the school curriculum influences SEND policy, promoting improved teaching and learning across the board.
- Contribute to the promotion and management of high standards in teaching, learning, and achievement through inclusive approaches for SEND students.
- Act as the school’s Designated Teacher for Looked After (LAC) and Previously Looked After Children (PLAC), actively supporting the educational success of these students.
- Moreover, take on a significant role within the School's Designated Safeguarding Team.
