About This Role
Duhovka Bilingual High School located in Prague is on the lookout for a committed IB History (and Humanities) Teacher to become part of our educational team. This role will be available starting in August 2024, offering a competitive salary that ranges from 65,000 to 75,000 CZK per month, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct dynamic and thorough lessons in IB History and Humanities.
- Create an engaging learning atmosphere that promotes student involvement and critical analysis.
- Work collaboratively with peers to establish curriculum and assessment approaches that meet IB standards.
- Aid students in their academic and personal development by providing support and constructive feedback.
- Engage in school functions, professional development sessions, and community outreach projects.
Qualifications:
- A degree in History, Humanities, Education, or a similar field.
- A teaching certification and experience with the IB curriculum are preferred.
- Excellent communication abilities and a capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Czech is a plus.
