Capital School Bahrain is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Teacher of Art to join our growing secondary team.
The chosen applicant will be tasked with instructing Art and Design to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing creativity, technical skills, and artistic confidence. This role encompasses preparing students for IGCSE Art and Design, assisting in the creation of strong portfolios, and contributing to the flourishing arts culture within the school.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Crafting and delivering engaging Art lessons for KS3 and KS4
· Thoroughly preparing students for IGCSE Art and Design, with an emphasis on coursework and portfolio development
· Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies to enhance students’ creativity, technical abilities, and independent thinking
· Tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring appropriate challenges and extensions are provided
· Creating an inspiring and visually appealing classroom atmosphere that celebrates student accomplishments
The ideal candidate will have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent credential
· A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline
· Demonstrated experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 levels
· Knowledge of preparing students for IGCSE Art and Design
· A thorough understanding of various artistic disciplines
· Effective classroom management and organizational skills
