26/27 Vice Principal

FTE: Full-time

Term of Employment: Continuing - Starting August 27, 2026

Salary and Benefits: As outlined in the provincial salary grid, plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation support may also be available.

Qualifications:

• Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or proof of eligibility)
• Experience and knowledge in applying best practices in instruction, curriculum, learning environment, and assessment
• Familiarity with the languages, histories, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Insight into and experience with Northern issues
• A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
• At least five years of successful administrative experience at elementary, middle, and secondary levels
• Graduate-level academic training in school administration
• Strong capabilities in instructional leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, and overall communication
• A firm commitment to the principles of school plus/community schools and the idea of safe schools
