About This Role
Aldar Education is seeking a Key Stage 1 Phase Level Lead for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, with the position commencing in the academic year 2026-2027. This role is integral to the out-of-class Primary Leadership Team, where the successful candidate will manage a specific phase within the school while also undertaking various whole school responsibilities aimed at enhancing overall performance and raising standards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Guide the phase team in alignment with the school’s vision and strategic goals, ensuring coherence with the Key Drivers, School Development Plan, and Unique Selling Propositions (USPs).
- Initiate continuous improvement efforts by developing innovative strategies that enhance standards within the phase.
- Articulate and promote a clear, ambitious vision for the phase that fosters innovative learning experiences and consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Manage the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Review (MER) process across the phase, ensuring rigorous quality assurance of teaching, learning, and standards.
- Inspire the team to create and deliver learning experiences that are innovative, meaningful, challenging, and responsive to the diverse needs of all learners.
- Ensure effective implementation of pastoral care and wellbeing systems, cultivating a culture of care and respect within the phase.
- Provide leadership and direction to Heads of Year, offering accountability and opportunities for professional growth.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation, assisting the team in recognizing trends, addressing gaps, and planning targeted interventions.
- Ensure the execution of high-quality interventions within the phase that challenge and support all student groups to achieve their full potential.
- Foster dynamic, creative, and purposeful learning environments that showcase the school’s unique offerings.
- Advocate for the development of industry partnerships that enrich learning experiences and align with the school’s vision.
- Actively participate in strategies for student retention and enrollment, especially in Foundation Stage provision.
- Promote staff professional development within the phase through leading impactful training sessions, coaching, team teaching, and sharing best practices (including for Early Career Teachers).
