Job Overview
Meritton British International School is in search of a motivated and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to instruct A-Level Psychology, while also providing support in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects relevant to the candidate's strengths. This position is perfect for an adaptable educator who can enhance a wide-ranging secondary curriculum, contributing to areas such as Mathematics, Business, Computing, or Global Perspectives, in addition to Psychology.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional instruction in A-Level Psychology

• Prepare students for the Cambridge A-Level Psychology examinations

• Assist in teaching across KS3 and KS4 in other subject areas

• Create engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and analytical abilities

• Support curriculum development and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related discipline

• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an international educational setting

• Proven experience in teaching A-Level Psychology

• Ability to teach across KS3–KS4 (subject area depending on expertise)

• Strong command of English (native-level fluency preferred)

• Dedication to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL)

Compensation

£1,600 - £2,200 per month (Based on your classroom teaching experience and the school's teacher pays cale)
