Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing our Art and Design curriculum, with a focus on enhancing our IGCSE Art offerings and fostering the development of A-Level pathways.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide exceptional teaching in Art and Design for KS3–KS5, encompassing A-Level Digital Media and Design
•
Design and execute a well-structured IGCSE Art and Design curriculum
•
Guide students in nurturing their creativity, honing technical skills, and building independent portfolios
•
Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level evaluations
•
Engage in curriculum development and enrichment initiatives within Visual Arts
•
Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere that reflects the school's values
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
•
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role at an international school
•
A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE with QTS or an equivalent credential
•
Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum
•
Native English speaker or possess outstanding proficiency in English, both verbal and written
•
Excellent classroom management and communication abilities
•
Dedication to Values-based Education and Inquiry Learning
•
Experience in teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Art and Design
•
Strong knowledge of Digital Media tools and creative software
