About This Role

Starting: 3rd August 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are in search of Primary Class Teachers who are dedicated to fostering a nurturing, inspiring, and inclusive educational environment for all students. Join us in making a meaningful, lasting difference.

At St. Andrews International School Bangkok, we recognize that understanding each child is fundamental to effective education. Our classrooms are inviting and engaging, providing a supportive atmosphere where students can explore, learn, and grow. Our educators embody this vision through their creativity, dedication, and commitment to each child's distinctive educational journey.

Inspiring Learning and Development:

As an educator at St. Andrews, you will guide both the academic and personal development of your class, customizing teaching strategies to address the unique needs, abilities, and interests of each student. By staying updated on contemporary educational practices, you will introduce innovative approaches to our curriculum and provide regular, meaningful feedback to parents. Collaboration is key to our philosophy, and you will partner with colleagues and Heads of Phase to craft cohesive learning experiences for students.

Collaborating as a Professional Team Member:

Joining our team involves aligning with shared objectives and positively contributing to our school community. You will accurately implement assessment and reporting procedures, supervise students during designated times, and assist in curriculum development through regular meetings and professional development opportunities. By collaborating closely with fellow teachers, you will help maintain a consistent, high-quality learning environment across classes and year groups.

Professional Development

We emphasize professional advancement by providing access to Nord Anglia University’s CPD platform and encouraging collaborative efforts through Professional Learning Communities, Triads, and WalkThrus. Opportunities for leadership roles and Masters programmes are available, supporting our educators in their pursuit of lifelong learning.

Building a Welcoming School Community:

Our school fosters a dynamic atmosphere that promotes curiosity and engagement. As an educator, you will create inviting and stimulating classrooms and shared spaces, igniting children's excitement for learning and participation. You will engage in extracurricular activities weekly, represent the school within the local and international community, and support our House system by participating in House events.

At St. Andrews, we appreciate multiple intelligences and adopt a multi-sensory approach, creating an engaging environment where academic, creative, and physical endeavors are equally valued.

Our Community

Becoming part of St. Andrews means joining a warm and inclusive community where teachers engage beyond the classroom. In addition to teaching, you will participate in our vibrant pastoral system, residential trips, and offer extracurricular activities that support student development in academics, creative arts, sports, or social initiatives.

Curriculum and Learning Approach

Our curriculum closely follows the English National Curriculum with an inclusive, international perspective. Senior students undertake IGCSEs and the IB Diploma, with options for the IB Career-Related Pathway and International BTECs to cater to our diverse community. We embrace technology, adapting to ongoing changes to ensure both staff and students have the necessary tools for digital learning. Every teacher is provided with a personal device.

Safeguarding at St. Andrews:

St. Andrews is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all our students and expects all staff to share this commitment (see our Child Protection Code of Conduct). No teacher will be appointed without at least two references, including one from the most recent employer, a ten-year criminal record check, and an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or relevant regional prohibition order checks.
