About This Role

Teacher of Physics

We are looking for a Secondary Physics Teacher to join our accomplished Science Department at our Windsor Park campus, starting in August 2026. This is an opportunity for an individual who wishes to be part of a vibrant, supportive, and innovative learning community.

About Our School

Bromsgrove International School, Thailand, is a flourishing co-educational day and boarding institution catering to over 520 students aged 2 to 18. We implement the English National Curriculum, tailored to fit our international environment, from EYFS through IGCSE, A Levels, and BTEC pathways.

As a branch of Bromsgrove School UK, one of the most esteemed independent schools in Britain with a rich history of over 450 years, we leverage this educational legacy while embracing modern approaches and global perspectives. Our goal is to nurture each student into a confident, curious, and compassionate global citizen who values both the learning experience and its outcomes.

We take pride in being an Education Development Trust (EDT) Outstanding and a CIS member school, and we are also part of FOBISIA. Our facilities include two campuses: our Early Years campus (Pre-Nursery to Year 1) and our main Windsor Park campus (Year 2–13), situated within the serene grounds of Windsor Park Golf Course on the outskirts of Bangkok. The local area provides a relaxed lifestyle with ample housing options within a 30-minute commute to school, complemented by a convenient daily staff bus service.

In recent years, Bromsgrove has significantly expanded — in terms of student numbers, reputation, and aspirations — establishing itself as the preferred choice for families in Eastern Bangkok.

We seek exceptional educators eager to join our dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking learning environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaboration, demonstrate flexibility, maintain a sense of humor, and uphold high expectations and professional integrity.

We Offer:

• A competitive international salary and benefits package, aligned with leading schools in the region.
• A truly collaborative and supportive community where ideas flow freely; we have a team that values working together.
• The opportunity to live and work in a beautiful region of Thailand, with equal emphasis on professional growth and well-being.

Role Profile

We are in search of a teacher who genuinely enjoys collaboration — someone adaptable, cheerful, and with high standards and professional pride.

The Science Department consistently achieves impressive results in external examinations at both IGCSE and A Level. We seek a candidate with experience teaching students aged 11-18; leading the department's physics offerings at the upper levels of the school will be a crucial aspect of this role. While the ability to teach mathematics as a second subject is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Many of our students are exceptionally talented scientists who pursue studies at prestigious universities worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A recognized teaching qualification (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent) and a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a UK or British international school setting.

Confidence in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigor, and flexibility.

A strong skill set in utilizing technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience rather than substitute it.

The ability to inspire students through building relationships based on trust, respect, and warmth.

A reflective approach to practice, comfortable with experimenting, learning, and adapting — someone who thoughtfully integrates meaningful innovations over time rather than chasing every new trend.

A genuine team player who contributes positivity, flexibility, and balance to the school environment.

Above all, we seek educators who prioritize people in their work and recognize that learning is a journey, not solely about outcomes.

To apply for this position, please follow the link to complete the application form. You will also need to upload a current curriculum vitae and provide the contact information for at least three professional references, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer.

Bromsgrove International School Thailand is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be prepared to undergo child protection screening, including an ICPC and other police checks for the countries where they have worked over the past ten years or throughout their working life, whichever is shorter. In the final stages of the hiring process, we will conduct both written and verbal reference checks with previous employers. Any job offer will depend on the successful completion of these checks and work visa approval from Thai authorities.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held in person in London or Bangkok when possible, or online if necessary.
