About This Role

The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is an exceptional institution located in a vibrant area. As a member of HMC, we were recently evaluated by a BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection and received outstanding marks across all categories, including educational quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic results.

BSB serves as a large and highly sought-after school for children aged 3 to 18. Our curriculum follows the English National Curriculum, offering an extensive selection of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, complemented by a robust enrichment program.

With over 2000 students representing more than 74 nationalities, BSB employs over 315 staff members across three different sites. In 2026, we will be launching a new, cutting-edge campus in Maresme, situated to the east of Barcelona city. This campus will initially cater to students from Nursery to Year 6 in 2026, expanding to include Year 13 by 2028. This exciting expansion will feature an array of specialist facilities, such as modern classrooms, science laboratories, fully equipped music and art studios, dedicated spaces for play, socializing, and study, as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities, all set against a stunning backdrop of mountains and coastline. It is an extraordinary environment for learning.

BSB is renowned for providing an exceptional student experience, achieving strong academic results, and focusing on character development and a global perspective. Our ongoing commitment to improvement is evident in our approach to teacher development, which includes active professional learning communities and reflective practices.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking outstanding teachers to join our team. If you are interested in being part of something remarkable and advancing your career, we encourage you to apply.
