About This Role
This full-time role is within our Technology department, where the educator will guide students in alignment with established curricular standards, while creating a nurturing and safe learning environment inspired by the love of Jesus for every child. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Leading Chapel or Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions
- Supervising students in different settings
- Participating in and contributing to both departmental and school-wide meetings
- Collaborating on various initiatives aimed at school improvement
- Communicating with parents, colleagues, and administration
- Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities
● Create, implement, and facilitate safe, impactful learning experiences for students that encourage respect for everyone.
● Instruct specific grade-level subjects to a diverse student body, adhering to the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) standards.
● Timely submit unit and lesson plans for assigned classes each semester.
● Utilize a range of formative and summative assessments that are relevant and purposeful for the subject matter and student demographic.
● Assist students in reaching their learning goals by providing constructive feedback based on assessments.
● Effectively collaborate and communicate with students, parents, fellow staff, and other stakeholders to enhance student learning experiences.
● Work with the Head of Technology and Technology Specialist to co-develop the technology curriculum.
● Co-facilitate robotics teams alongside a group of robotics coaches.
● Coordinate with principals, division heads, and the Head of Technology to ensure tasks are completed and assessed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
● The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Design Technology, or a related field. Degrees in allied areas such as Mathematics, Engineering, and Science will also be considered. A master’s degree is advantageous.
● A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is required.
● Relevant certifications (such as Google Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Apple Teacher, etc.) are a plus.
● An openness to professional growth and a willingness to contribute to team and school leadership is essential.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
● Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
● Familiarity with computer programming and educational robotics is beneficial.
● Proficiency in software applications relevant to graphic design and web development.
● A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, ability to work in a team, and results-oriented mindset.
● A commitment to fostering academic success for all students.
● Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Compensation
- Starting salary ranges from ฿530,000 to ฿800,000+. Increases are based on degree type(s), teaching certification, prior experience at ICSN, and overall years of experience.
- Annual benefits include an airfare stipend, housing allowance, comprehensive health insurance (for the employee and dependents), a provident fund, and more.
- For families, additional benefits include a monthly child stipend and free tuition.
