We are in search of enthusiastic, thoughtful, and committed educators to join our team and support our youngest students in their academic, social, and emotional growth within a bilingual, inquiry-driven setting.
In the role of Spanish Primary Lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year, you will alternate teaching two primary classes alongside an English language Lead Teacher. By becoming part of our dynamic educational community, you will significantly influence the learning experiences of our students, emphasizing both academic success and social-emotional growth.
•
Design and implement engaging, well-organized lessons that link classroom learning to real-world contexts, fostering enthusiasm and academic excellence in accordance with IB and state standards.
•
Tailor instruction through a variety of developmentally suitable teaching and assessment techniques to cater to the diverse needs of all students.
•
Oversee and nurture the academic, emotional, and social growth of students.
•
Uphold high standards for student behavior to create a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
•
Effectively incorporate technology to enhance student learning experiences.
•
Cultivate a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families.
•
Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, leadership, and staff throughout the school.
•
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
•
Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
•
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
•
Fluency in both Spanish and English
•
Authorization to work in the U.S.
•
Master’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
•
At least 3 years of experience in Elementary/Primary education
•
Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs is preferred
