Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Math/Science Teacher to become part of our faculty in August 2026.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional instruction in Mathematics and Science, nurturing students’ understanding, critical thinking abilities, and enthusiasm for learning. The teacher will create and deliver engaging lessons, creative activities, and innovative methods tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students within the British Curriculum framework.

The Math/Science Teacher will handle planning, delivering, assessing, and reporting on student progress while fostering a stimulating and safe classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities


1. Instructional Responsibilities

Design and implement captivating lessons in Mathematics and Science for the designated grade levels.


Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and submit them to the Primary Lead for approval.


Utilize technology, interactive resources, and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.


Cultivate a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking.


Develop worksheets, handouts, and supplementary materials to support lesson goals.

2. Assessment and Evaluation

Evaluate, document, and report on students’ academic growth and development.


Grade assignments and tests promptly while providing constructive feedback.


Identify students who need extra support and ensure they receive the necessary interventions.

3. Curriculum Development

Incorporate feedback from academic coordinators to improve lesson plans accordingly.


Stay informed about new teaching methodologies, learning tools, and technological advancements.


Ensure that all lesson plans and assessments comply with curriculum requirements (UK/I/GCSE).

4. Collaboration and Communication

Work together with other educators to exchange teaching strategies, resources, and professional insights.


Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on student progress during meetings and as required.


Engage in school events, professional development sessions, and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Skills and Competencies

Curriculum Knowledge: Solid understanding of UK/IGCSE Mathematics and Science curriculum frameworks.


Instructional Expertise: Ability to present engaging, differentiated lessons that foster student understanding and enthusiasm.


Assessment Skills: Skilled in formative and summative assessment, monitoring student progress, and delivering clear feedback.


Classroom Management: Proficient in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere.


Technology Integration: Comfortable with using digital tools and platforms to enhance instruction and student engagement.


Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with parents.


Professionalism: Dedicated to ongoing professional growth and adherence to school policies and values.

Qualifications


At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Science.


Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or relevant specialization in Mathematics and Science.


Familiarity with UK/IGCSE curriculum standards.


Prior experience in an international school setting is preferred.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
