Job Description
We are in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic B Teacher to join our faculty in August 2026.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in teaching Arabic as a second language to non-native speakers within the British Curriculum context. They will excel in crafting engaging, student-focused lessons that enhance language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while promoting a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
The Arabic B Teacher (focused on teaching Arabic as a second or foreign language) will take on the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
1. Instructional Responsibilities

Design and implement captivating Arabic language lessons suited to students’ proficiency levels.
•
Instruct students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking competencies.
•
Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to enrich student learning.
•
Integrate cultural elements from the Arab world to enhance language education.
2. Assessment and Evaluation
•
Create and conduct formative and summative assessments.
•
Track student progress and provide prompt feedback.
•
Keep accurate records of student achievement and report results as necessary.
3. Curriculum and Lesson Planning
•
Formulate lesson plans that meet curriculum standards (e.g., IB, Cambridge, national curriculum).
•
Modify teaching materials to cater to various learning needs and language abilities.
•
Utilize technology and multimedia tools when applicable.
4. Classroom Management
•
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
•
Promote active engagement and use of the Arabic language.
•
Handle classroom behavior respectfully and consistently.
5. Professional Development
•
Engage in training and workshops to remain informed about effective language teaching practices.
•
Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary planning and school events.
6. Communication
•
Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and fellow educators.

Offer support and guidance to students to facilitate their success.

Curriculum Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Arabic B language framework within the British Curriculum, including Key Stages and expectations for non-native speakers.

Language Instruction: Capability to teach Arabic as an additional language, emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through age-appropriate methods.
