This position presents a unique chance to join our faculty and assist students in two significant capacities:
• As part of the English Language Development team, you will aid students who are in the process of acquiring English, helping them evolve into confident speakers, readers, and writers.
• You will also play a pivotal role in introducing primary students to the basics of Spanish, preparing them for their transition to secondary school.
About the role
As an educator at Regent’s, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting primary students in enhancing their English proficiency through focused small group and in-class instruction.
• Assisting students in building their confidence and skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers to ensure that ELD learners can engage with the curriculum and achieve significant academic progress.
• Introducing young learners to foundational Spanish through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Contributing to the establishment of a positive, language-rich atmosphere throughout the primary school.
• Being part of a collaborative team that is dedicated to nurturing strong language skills among all students.
