RAK Academy AL Hamra:

Situated in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution. We offer a tailored UK National Curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8, in addition to the UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school, encompassing Grades 6 to 8, will welcome its first students in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning our standards with leading international British educational institutions, and we are fully equipped to provide the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

Our secondary school is in search of a motivated, enthusiastic, and inspirational Islamic A teacher to join our thriving Islamic department.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Familiarity with the Ministry of Education's Islamic A curriculum.

• Strong grasp of effective teaching and learning strategies.

• High proficiency in technology to enhance educational delivery.

• Ability to engage, inspire, and support students.

• A reflective practitioner with creative thinking and innovation skills.

• A positive, enthusiastic team player with a growth mindset.

• Willingness to actively participate in extra-curricular activities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Training in the UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.

• Familiarity with Google Suite, including Google Classroom.

• Proven track record of improving student performance.
